Winding over few thousand miles from the highland of Tibet in the north to the South China Sea in the south, the majestic Mekong has shaped the ancient civilization of the IndoChina Peninsula for centuries.

For thousand of years, the Indochina peninsula has witnessed the rise and fall of various great ancient civilizations of the past. One of the greatest wonder that had drawn praise from all over the world is the grandeur Kingdom of Angkor. Other kingdoms which were once ruled the plain include the first Khmer Kingdom - Land Chenla (Laos) and Water Chenla (Cambodia), Champa Kingdom (Vietnam), Bagan (Myanmar), Sukhothai and Ayutthaya (Thailand).

With all the great and powerful rulers finally fall, civilization that have bloomed and vanished, the glorious moment of the kingdoms had ended. Left behind are ancient monuments, gigantic structures, beautiful edifices, temples, sculptures, and ruins of great archaeological value, reconstruct a lively narrative which signify the lost of the ancient civilizations. The structures, a symbol of power of the ruing kings, were built by their skillful master artists and devoted builders. The magnificent structures and the solidity of the foundation were built without the use of today's modern technologies, one can only wonder and gaze on them with full awe-amazement, for their stupendous might and skills.

The Mekong and Indochina Peninsula were inseparable in the past, present and in the future......
